Pinrose Review: Pinrose (their namesake fragrance)
I have done a lot of Pinrose reviews so far. There will be a day when I break down and buy a bottle (most likely to be Pillowtalk Poet). But for now, I am here to review Pinrose's namesake fragrance, Pinrose. Try or purchase from www.pinrose.com.
Any whoooo, I still have a few petals left, and this is a brand new fragrance as of this year: their namesake, Pinrose.
The notes of this perfume:
Bulgarian Rose, Anise, Elemi
Iris, Clove, Burnt Rose
Labdanum, Ambergris, Vanilla
On first impression, I have to admit this was not really what I expected. I anticipated the rose notes, of course, but I didn't expect the darker/warmer ones. So this one was just not really as fresh as I expected. But the graphic design for the scent is beautiful.
I like this fragrance, personally, but I feel that it is a bit old for me. And sadly, something about it made my head hurt, so it is not one I am likely to wear again or purchase, although I enjoyed the experience of smelling like a dried bunch of flowers for the day. I recommend it for anyone who loves anything heavily floral, and semi-sultry.
One thing I love about Pinrose scents in general is that the fragrance stays with you the whole day, and changes from morning to evening. Its absolutely lovely, and these fragrances are truly high quality and worth the investment.
