IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream Review

     IT Cosmetics makes some serious brushes, and some serious makeup. While the branding is from the United States, the actual product is made in Korea. Technically, that makes it K-Beauty. ;) Or is that a stretch?

     Anywhoo, lets get down to brass tacks about this CC cream.

CC cream. CC stands for "color correction," which will effectively even skin tone, including masking and possibly improving dark circles, sallow skin, and acne scarring.

Color: I bought this CC in fair, the lightest shade offered. The range goes from fair to dark, which sadly doesn't include ebony shades. The color matches with minimal neck blending and looks incredibly natural. The color is on the yellower side of neutral, so it works for cool and warm toned people with some yellow happening. If you need a pinker tone, I'd try something else.

Formulation/Coverage: It's medium to full coverage and the formulation is a pleasant surprise. There are so many botanical extracts and vitamins in this CC that listing them takes up an entire side of the box. It feels like I am not wearing anything on my face!

Oxidation: This can be the deal breaker of any seemingly #porcelainprincess friendly shade. I have foundations that start out perfect, but in a few hours are two shades darker! This one doesn't do that. I can't say it doesn't oxidize at all, but I will say that it oxidizes very little.

After a few hours, I am still matte. The CC doesn't transfer as easily as most of the foundations I have worn before. In fact, it transfers very little if at all. 

I definitely recommend this CC. It's nice, it smells nice, it covers well and blends easily. If you have $38 to swing on it, go ahead. If not.. well I've yet to find a good drugstore BB or CC that comes in an ultrapale shade. Porcelain babes often get left out in drugstore brands, and plenty of prestige brands too. So lets all give a cheer, because the UltraPale squad gets to add another porcelain friendly shade to the arsenal.
