Pinrose Fragrance Review: Love Bug!

If you don't already follow me on instagram, you should! It is one of my VERY favorites of the social media, and it is the one I am by far the most active on. If you follow, you would see that I got a fantabulous mailer from Pinrose [a fragrance company whose following is growing exponentially]. They included petals, or scent-saturated wipes, of pretty much ALL of their fragrances. My excitement was BEYOND measure!! It was even wrapped up all pretty with a nice thank you note inside. So if you didn't get to see it on insta, here it is:
the mailer!

The sachet, and all the petals!

Today, I am reviewing Love Bug, a fragrance designed by one of the Pinrose founders for her very own wedding!! That is definitely something you don't see every day! I would jump at the chance to do the same for mine. So on to the review (and my insta photo of the fragrance sample)

My process when trying the fragrance:
1. Open packet, smell it
2. Pat it onto my skin (rubbing can cause the loss of some notes!)
3. Wait for it to dry, smell it again!
4. Wear only one at a time, all day. Form an opinion!

Notes in Love Bug:
Cocoa
Pomegranate
Amber
I like Love Bug a lot, with only one disappointment: cocoa was listed as a note and I wish it was a little more powerful. It does get covered up by a lot of the other ones. Maybe my nose just isn't as sensitive to it, but I wish it was a little more present! Otherwise, it is romantic, sophisticated, and playful. Love Bug is one of my new favorites, second only to Pillowtalk Poet.

So overall this pretty much gets five roses out of five (what I want to use to evaluate the fragrances).
Obviously not custom blended for me. But I liked it all the same. More chocolate never hurt anyone, though :3

What's really funny is that I save the petals after the wipe has already dried, so I can smell them later, remember them, and the way the fragrance made me feel. This one made me feel special :D
