Pinrose Fragrance Review: Renegade Starlet
Welcome to day 2 of the reviews! And there are still plenty more days to follow. The scent I am talking to you about today is Renegade Starlet.
The Notes are as follows:
Tiare Flower
Gardenia
Frangipani
Let me start off by saying WHOA! And also that I have no clue what frangipani and tiare flower are. No matter what exactly they are, they smell great.
The gardenia hits you like a ton of bricks. And this is not your granny's low quality gardenia calgon. This is legit. This is as legit as it could possibly get. It is so fresh, enlightening, illuminating, and WONDERFUL.
Its like springtime in a packet. I love this scent for spring, and it blends seamlessly from day to night as the gardenia fades back and the other more sultry notes come through (this happened for me at around 5pm). I love the duality! Five out of five roses!
The only nitpick I really have is the name... I think Renegade Starlet is beautiful, unique, and definitely interesting, but I don't think it accurately describes how this smell makes me feel. I feel brightened and serene; like the feeling of standing in a field full of grain in the summer with a breeze on your face. I will secretly call this one "Free Spirit."
